My 1st and only attempt at a 120mm

Yes, Verlinden, purchased in 1996 :)

It has been a struggle, not so much to assemble (maybe a little) but to make it fit. Other than the figure itself that is.

Dunno if I can wait that long!

Like the gloves; I was so surprised to learn of the temperatures up there...

Has the makings of a great mini dio!

Started in about '96, so yeah the 30-year mark sounds about right.

Joking aside, I'm not sure what to do. I have so many sets in-progress, even more stashed away (like this one but less cool), then there's most of my stash (small by most standards) that I do want and intend to build, not just have.

I'm not sure I can do it right, there's a lot of little issues with the kit and I am not very good at scratch building. I think I'm really afraid of trying to finish it and not liking the results. The figure is full of brushstrokes, got a bit carried away with dry brushing back then, never heard of a wash or filter. Pretty sure I can get that straightened out. I think what I should do is try to get an acceptable finish on the interior/exterior of the plane, then decide if I keep going or put it away again.

It is a cool kit, although odd that a waist gunner would be pointing to anything like that, who is looking? The crewman right next to him is facing the opposite direction. I think the answer is you, the viewer, he telling you about the incoming Focke Wulf.
