So a few weeks ago started on my first build of this Monogram F14, which i heard was one of the worse models ever constructed. For me it wasn't so bad except the front fuselage. i had to do some serious sanding to flatten the plastic and putty. I feel i got it as best as i could as I am still learning. Bit bumbed about the lines been sanded down :'(
First off was the tub, which wasn't to bad but can only get better as I learn more skills.
Some weathering done to the tub
tried my best to do some detail to the seats and made some belts.
Bit of detailing to upper cockpit
Tub in and getting ready for the first coat of coating.
So ye this wasn't done all in a day to get to this stage, but over 2 month period.
Next up is a second coat and then to see where i take it from there in terms of colours. Thinking of taking this in my own direction with USS America colours, but still deciding on that.
