I have wanted to order this kit for about five years now it must be. You have pushed me over the cliff and I ordered it two days ago after I saw this. Amazing work. All the panel lines look great and the detail is just fantastic. This should be in a magazine!

Couple of last construction photos:

The airconditioning ducting around the cockpit of original A-10s is very prominent so I decided it would add a bit of busyness to the cockpit. Wire and plastic:

Also, the kit has absolutely nothing in the way of a canopy opening mechanism nor detail on the canopy rails. The actual only N/AW A-10 has side opening canopies but I don;t like how they look. The production plan was a single clamshell canopy like the F-14 but making a new canopy was a bit beyond me so I set it up like the F-4. I made some hydraulics to raise the canopy and some bits and pieces on the rails:
