Howdy. I'm not sure if this is frowned upon in the forums here but couldn't figure out which section applied…anyways gonna photo bomb you all. Just wanted to share what I'm into. My main thing is ships. I'm a scratch builder for the most part. I do things like this one, it's an ocean research vessel with mini subs. It's big. Wife hates it lol.

I do some 3D printing. Mostly things I want to be more plausible, not an effort issue. Just skill lol

Lately I've gotten into the instant gratification of modifying die cast vehicles. Mostly for my diorama. These are 1:24. Some are lipstick on a pig but the Fox body is pretty legit. I just paint the body seams and do some airbrushing, nothing fancy.

Here is the diorama. I recently tore it completely apart, it was way more weathered/detailed but I had some growing pains.

It's obviously a boat yard but also a bar and grill, machine shop, and diesel truck shop complete with monster trucks including my favorite, $10 Walmart Ford with scratch built suspension. I buy the $5 monster trucks just for the tires. The travel lift is pretty cool, built it in an afternoon as a photo prop for a commission build.
