Hello all

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum i wasn't quite sure where to post this!

I'm looking into making a Nebula class ship from Star Trek, i understand there isnt an actual Nebula class model kit but it has to be a kit-bash instead. Can anyone tell me if these are the correct parts to make one up?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yep - a D and a conversion kit. Hunt down another one (unless you won those) and get hacking.

Does anyone know if the resin parts for the Nebula conversion are solid? Or are they hollow like the plastic kit?

The reason I ask is for lighting purposes.

Thanks all,

Iain.

Only kits I've seen were solid. Federation Models sells the conversion kit in that Ebay ad, but they do want $140 for it

Thanks, guys.

@custardchris. That nebula conversion looks like the best option for lighting, thanks for the link. :)

A bit pricey for me though and I wish he wouldn't use coloured clear parts. I'd much rather let my LEDs do the colouring.

Wow, thanks for the link, custardchris! These guys've got a superb kit for lighting the maquese ship - might be of a great time saving when I turn to mine))

I got my Nebula conversion kit and an Enterprise D model on it's way to me from the USA thanks to ebay. lol

I cant wait. ;D
