I almost finished a Kamov KA-52 small kit (1/72). It will be displayed landed,
So i need a quick tip on how to slightly bend the rotor blades towards the ground.

Thinking of 2 thngs right now:
-boiling water, i know it softens some plastics, i didn't try it yet on scale models

-the oven, a bit trickier since i don't want to melt the plastic and loose details on the blades.

Any ideas?

don't use the oven. styrene is flammable and can give off gasses.

I'd use the very hot water technique.Dunk it in, hold it there for a sew seconds, remove, position - hold it in that position until you've got it under cold running water.

voila!

You can also heat salt in a can. I dunno how small the propellers are though you're bending. You just put a can of salt on a pan and heat it up. Then just slide the propeller you want to bend into the salt and let it heat up to when you can start bending the plastic. Works pretty good.
