Just sling more of that bait you use out there, I'm sure one will appear on your porch like magic......... PanthermanMy stash has expanded quite a bit lately. May have to wait on this one.
Bait is becoming harder to get. I don't want to dip into reserves since I will be starting flight school soon.Just sling more of that bait you use out there, I'm sure one will appear on your porch like magic......... Pantherman
Know that feeling... PanthermanBait is becoming harder to get. I don't want to dip into reserves since I will be starting flight school soon.
It's more than just new decals. Some of the panels have different textures to add detail. The fuselage is the same, but the top and bottom of the wings are newly-tooled. The pilot figure is also new.Not really new per say. Basically the same kit as the original Tamiya F4F Wildcat with new decals. The Mark V Wildcat is a RAF version of the Lend Lease aircraft of WW2.
It also comes with a canopy mask. It's more than just new decals. Some of the panels have different textures to add detail. The fuselage is the same, but the top and bottom of the wings are newly-tooled. The pilot figure is also new.
I took photos at the All-Japan Model Hobby Show last September. The parts with the red 新規部品 stickers show what's new.

I have more photos on my site here. I was going to submit photos to Fine Scale Modeler magazine like I have in previous years, but Aaron Skinner never got back to me.

So at this point I'm usually asked " did you look where you last left it". Well, did you? PanthermanI'm still trying to find my Tamiya P-38 kit. I bought one when it was first issued. It's not lost, as such-I know it's here in the house. But at a more granular level of detail, I don't know where in the house.
