Thanks for the words of encouragement Igard and stpaligurl! I, too, would eventually like to build the 1701-D clear model (I built the gray version about 20 years ago -- didn't even paint it) and light it. I figure if I keep at this hobby for a year I might be able to tackle it. Not sure. I'll just start with the Warbird and go from there.
