Old male armour

The road wheels are a pain in the A$$. With patience and perseverance I was able to get one side together without glueing any wheels. Working on the other side now.

Those are Mark IV females — you can tell by the rails over the top that they're either IV or V, and because they have no louvres on the sides towards the rear, they're not Vs :)

Interesting how little those tracks changed from WWI to WWII.

Um … how do you mean? First-World-War tracks were basically two metal chains joined together by simple steel plates riveted to them. The only traction they provide is because of the ridge that was mainly there so the link overlaps with the next, and by the heads of the rivets. Any track designed in the 1920s and beyond is more complex and better suited for driving through terrain, most of them articulating without the need for a chain underneath.

Ah, yes, the Char B1 :) Those are also basically dual chains with track plates to connect them, yes. But then, this tank is essentially a 1918 one with a turret, in any case.
