So I have an ICM ov10a kit laying around and wanted to convert it to a D variant. The main difference is a longer nose and a day/night or targeting pod in the nose ... So was looking at doing that then next thing you know I'm building it lol....

So I located parts and for conversion and started. Always nervous cutting pieces but oh well ..

Will be moving on now to fitting up the part I cut from the nose to extend it forward and the fitup up the targeting pod in the nose. Will also be doing any touchups on cockpit so on... Have some things there left to do

Got most of the subassembly all done and decided on weapons load etc... detailed some side wheel wells and landing gear so on. Going to do more of that today.

I'm not in a hurry I am waiting on some details kits for this model... And open engine, open gun bays with guns, and a full cargo bay detail kit.

Will continue working on it or go back to cockpit for now because it needs some scratch built items so on.

My OV-10A ended up in the bin. I was carrying it out to start the paint work and dropped it on the concrete floor. It broke into about 50 pieces. Very upsetting. I have since bought another one but have not built it yet.

Wow! That sucks. At least you have another one for when ya get ready to start again though. Will try to do this one justice for ya lol.

Got back to the cockpit some today and made some progress. Raided the spare parts and pieces bin, got some things and started the scratch building detail phase on it. Have at least another day of thispart of the build but put the scratch building chops to use.
