Question on aircraft radio antenna wire - Specifically WW2 Luftwaffe

I'm trying to find info on the gauge wire used on Luftwaffe aircraft .
and is it braided wire or solid ?
I've found all kinds of info on the radio sets but nothing specific concerning the antennas .
A link to a site or recommendation on a book ?

From photos I was guessing somewhere around 14 gauge or 12 gauge-ish ( AWG ) , but in that video I posted here on that Me 109 G6 ( Maiden Flight ) , it appears thicker than that .

May have a question that stumps the panel.
