Question Paining Tamiya 1/48 Scale BF-109G 4/7

Following Tamiya's painting guide, I painted the tail AS-3 Grey Green and AS-4 Gray Violet using Vallejo Gray Green RLM 74-71.258 and Gray Violet RLM 75-71.259. Looking at the diagram, there should be a noticeable difference between the two colors. Still, as you can see in the picture, there is virtually no discernible color difference. What would an alternative color for AS-4 be, since it is supposed to be the lighter of the two?

There's a thread here from almost a decade ago with me complaining about Vallejo's grey green .
I had 3 bottles , all with the same product code , labeled grey green and they were all completely different from each other .

Try another grey green from someone else ,

Now that I look at it, I believe my question should be directed at AS-4, not AS-3.
