Return to model building after 43 years, having a blast, sad I ever quit....

So, new around here....I picked back up the hobby after 43 years, needed some stress reduction and added stress of a different type I guess. My wife bought me a Harbor Freight compressor and airbrush. I have picked up a couple of vintage holy grail kits I built as a kid. Current completed kits below. Wish me luck on my self-help journey.

Like many others, I did the same. It is a whole new world for modelers now.

Thank you for the welcome, "we've" come a long way from finger prints on canopies, but thank you.

As for the Harbor Freight compressor and airbrush? I've been surprised, I've never had an airbrush so I don't have anything to judge it by but to start out at $100 for compressor and airbrush I can say I've gotten everything out I've put in. Since I went to a Iwata Neo and now eyeing an Eclipse, for what it is worth the Harbor Freight is MORE resistant to clogs. I get a little more control with Iwata though. HF seems to spit a bit more but that also might be operator error

I have been back at it for a while now. I use mostly Tamiya paints because of availability. I use a mix of 75% IPA (standard rubbing alcohol) 25% polypropylene mixture as a thinner. This prevents spitting and tip drying for my air brush.
This is also super cheep compared to the manufacturer thinners
