The decals on the left do look way better. What printer are you using? Can you change the DPI?
Just a basic cannon printer. Found a program that is fairly easy to use and I'm playing around with that to get the best images I can.

Not really my thing, I prefer the smell of glue rather than ink........but it is good to learn new skills. Pantherman

I have some water slide paper but I haven't tried to use it yet. When I do the fire engine for my son I will have to print my own decals for his engine company.

It's easier with transparent decal paper, you don't have to cut so close to the edge of your decal. Pantherman

The problem is obvious: the ones on the right are bitmaps printed far too large, so all of the pixels show up clear as day.

If you're drawing things like this, best use a vector graphics program, like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or Inkscape (which is free), because you can scale vector images up and down all you like without loss of quality.

Ok so almost done. Got to put a varnish on the body and fit the rear doors in the open position, then fit it and the crew to the base. Wire up the motor and fit the rotors and I'm done.......I think. Pantherman

Almost there now, just the rotor cap and a few little bits to do. Maybe a final touch up here and there with the painting and she's go to go. Pantherman

Ok, I'm done. Really pleased with the way it turned out. If anyone can see something I've missed please let me know before I give it to the charity at the end of the month. The rotors are motorised but I can't seem to be able to post a video on the site. Pantherman
