Revell Klingon D-7 OOB Review

This is all kinda crazy- Star trek was a low budget TV show that used some of the actual AMT kits during the later part of its run, keeping it close to production specs is a cool thing, but look at WW2 aircraft- especially German props. One of the reasons they are so popular is because of the -wait for it--- different paint schemes! You can almost do anything you want and get away with it and here variety is seen as a good thing!

But not in Sci-Fi? The land of make believe? I'm 49, been a Trek fan for decades- bought all the books, taped episodes on a TAPE recorder and traded these with friends, built the kits, got most of the Mego figures ect. And wall papered my room with the posters from the AWESOME poster books from the late 70's (well where there was room, had to have space for all the Kiss stuff! lol)

And was still told later that i wasn't really a fan because I scoffed when i saw the 'How to speak Klingon' book when it came out in the 80's!

Rabid fans? Yes. Loyal fans?? of course.... but sane? Well thats debatable, do what you will afterall it is your skill you are showing- and the Klingon and Romulan ships beg diversity!

I'm jealous, i didn't know this kit existed by Revell, it's on the list for this years buy! Now get to it!!!! 8)

for those who asked, here is the link to the free audio book................

I think its in the 3rd chapter (its filed in about 30 different audio files), that it describes the D-7 as "Having a large bulbous nose that hung out over swept back wings, as if taunting it's prey".

I love that.
