Nice of you to share! The goodies look mighty nice but I have a few questions!

Are the kit's tires that bad? And is all the p.e. really necessary?

I understand you want it! I am fine with that!
But is it absolutely necessary to get a nice looking 1070?

Very good questions !

You're absolutely right as regards the wheels... In the kit there are nice black vynil ones.
I have always had troubles corrrectly handling this material. I prefer resin by far, so I had to get'em.

As regards the PE parts, these are designed to make a CPK which is not an option supplied by Hobby Boss. I wanted mine with a CPK and am not talented enough to scratch it (or too lazy to have a try but that's another story...).

So I agree with you, these are not necessary parts if you can and will to deal with the soft tires in the kit and if you don't want an up armored cab.

Plus these items are not exactly cheap... though not so expensive considering quality.

I think teh tyres are just resin catsts of the originals norm,

Will you get the Engine and Tractor tyres also Kero? i plan on doing that with mine tough i hadnt concidered the up armored cab that could be on the hitlist
