So far we have 33 participants. Non of whome are on my "Naughty" List. But I have had the elves get a few Trolls ready just in case. HoHoHoHoHo

Here's the breakdown so far:

Canada = 7
USA = 18
International = 8 (6 in Europe, 2 Non-Europe)

Lets see if we can't get over 40!

I wanted to let everybody know that I have recieved a few PM's from SMA members asking if they could recieve their matches before Monday. I guess a few people will be traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday down there in the U.S.A. and want to try and get out their gifts this weekend.

So, in the interest of keeping everybody happy, the elves and I are going to send out TWO (2) batches of PM's. The first PM's will go to those individuals who asked for their partners early and a few others down in the U.S. That will happen today/this evening. The second will go out to the rest of the American's, the Canadian's and the international folks first thing next week.

What are your thoughts' on the Group Build?

I'll do my best as well. Keep in mind, the contest starts March 1st...

Therefore I wouldn't suggest the group build to run over that. What if we tried Dec 26 - Feb 28th?

I think the group build should start the week we send kits out. I can understand not wanting the group build to overlap with the spring contest, but I don't really feel like trying to cram the build in a few months is a good idea. Since it's a lax group build and not the big spring contest I don't really see an issue with them having a slight overlap. Perhaps some people will want to save their entries for the spring contest.

My thought is instead of a "Group Build" why don't we just do a "Secret Santa W.I.P" thread. That way there is no pressure to get it them done in a certain time frame but we can show off our new kits. It's a win win. Besides I'm sure there are probably a number of people in the current group builds that are participating in the Secret Santa. They may need a break. Hahaha
