Nah, it wobbles all over the place, and leaves plastic shavings among the wood. A bad thing when cutting wood :-(

However, far FAR better than eyeballing it, or using my DeWalt miter-chop saw.

The one on the right there, just did a clear on the chromate and silver for the F-102 today, that is the one on the left.

The 101 finishes my stash-collection of the century-series. The bad news, many of the kits are 20+ years old, or 30. Then the 101 arrives from the company who went bankrupt and are famous for crappy fit. Oh well. You want retro collections that are out of the fad, you take what you can get.

Hobby Market came through!

Came across this vendor/distributor in Germany Greece when crawling through the webs looking for WW2 Italian vehicles.
Ordered a Pavesi Artillery Tractor (which I posted here a while back). Unfortunately, when I opened the box marked 1:35, it was clearly mis-packaged with 1/72 kit parts...

I went back to Hobby Market to be sure I had ordered the right thing, and clicked on the Text Help, and someone answered immediately!
I posted a pic of the contents beside a ruler, and the gentleman assured me that they would contact the seller right away, not to worry, he would take care of it.
Ya, right! As if?!

Well, got home just now from my favourite LHS (where I traded an Otter... not used in North Africa) for some other stuff... and what was waiting in my mailbox?
And the right scale!

I figured that's where the mistake came from Germany is .de for Deutschland, but oddly, Greece is not (say) .he for Hellas, Hellada or similar.

Not exactly new, but got new blades today for it.
For those of us who might hold a knife like a pen sometimes, here is an ergonomic variation...

Cool! I did a double-take figuring which end was which!

Hmmm.
I have been spoiled by my single blade side cutter. Only it is right handed, so only useful half as much as it could be.
By allowing a cut flush against a part, these single sided tools reduce the time to remove parts from sprues by more than half, because of the minimal to zero sanding required. Of course, the double bladed variety is still needed for attachment points in the middle of a part, or a rounded edge.

Meet left-handed brother!

And some more rigid carbon fibre sanding sticks. Now I can have a variety of grits on the different shaped sticks. I find these are the perfect complement to the flexible GodHand sanding foam.
