So I was some what pleased with the first build and had purchased all the tools and paint, decided to build another.
Tamiya 1/35 scale SPG ARCHER, eduard photo etch and thatch weave scrim. All brush painted with vallejo products. Scatch built dioramam and netting and gun slings.
Represents the Canadian Anti Tank Regiment.
My present build is my father in laws Flower class corvette. I just posted the progress images in the ship Forum.
To complete my goal of builds related to my relatives. two shermans , one of which is a firefly, a spitfire and the a lancaster. This should keep me busy for awhile, as I tend to slow and methodical in the builds.
Cheers Dennis

Thanks for the kind words athabascamaverick.
I am going to try a stay away from the airbrushes. I do not have a good spot to use one and not sure about learning how to use one. As I have never used one.
All my builds so far are all brush painted. The Universal carrier, flower class corvette and the figures. All posted here over the last couple of days.
I find with a lot of patience, getting the right paint viscosity, and a good brush the finish is pretty good. Not up to the quality of the builds on the forums but maybe with more practice I will get there.
cheers Dennis
