But at the same time see Steve Neills opinion when he says he and anyone else that worked on the original series think the newer series isn't as good you can see where he is coming from. Of course they will be bias to the series they all worked on. Everyone's opinions will vary. While I can respect your opinion, I can also respect Steve's as well. They have there logical lines of thinking in why the first was better etc. Im not familiar enough with it all yet to be able to form my own opinion. I am however starting a Star Trek episode marathon hunt that will draw on for months ha ha.
