I had an old Monogram Star Trek Voyager model that I found. I thought I would try to make it look like one of my favorite episode. I added some pictures of my work in progress.

Excellent.

that's one of my favourite 2 episodes from Voyager too !

Did you found it built ?

Will you light it ? I really hesitate on that option since I want to do it too but the lighting here could be a good way to look like the TV show.

wow, defo one of the best episodes and you done a cracking job, would look Outstanding light up

Thanks for all the nice comments. I did add a little bit of light to show fire & system failure. I will upload pictures of that when I can get good pictures.

I remember that episode!

Quite the shocker when she cruised across the screen in the opening looking all beat to H-E-L-L like that.

Your damage looks very close to c=scrfeen accurate.

Cudos! ;D

Its good to see someone modelling this.
Kinda makes you think its what Voyager REALLY should have looked like after travelling through such a hostile quadrant inside of being in pristine condition all the time.
Still, she was a great looking ship and the episodes were among the best of the series. Nice job with this one

Here are some more pictures that I took quickly of the lighting effects that I added to the model.

Very cool work Rolup! Love it!

These episodes were great! Probably my favourite of the series. I'm not one of Voyager's biggest fans, but it certainly had its moments.

Great lighting on her too! 8)

Yeah I thought the episode was more like it would be getting back to earth too. The ship should had been in pieces after season 4.

Exactly. The series pretty much set up it's stall early on. We knew what we were gonna get when, in an early episode (I think it was season 1), they begin having deuterium/fuel shortages. Remember Janeway couldn't replicate a cup of coffee because of it? Well, they never really solve that problem, but in the next episode, they're back to replicating cocktails and ice-cream.

Continuity was not Voyager's strong suit. In fact the writers hardly worried about it. The show would have been much stronger if they had some adversity and struggling to survive like we got a glimpse of in 'Year of Hell'.

Sorry for the rant. Over a decade since the show went off the air and I'm still going on about it! ;D
