Also finished this one in time for the CAMS show. Tamiya 1/35 French UE Carrier, with the Eduard PE set.
More I wanted to do with this one....but it was time to finish it up and move on. Fuel barrels were an experiment done with the hairspray method, which I tried out after seeing ScaleModelMedic's video on using it. That is something that will be revisited on another model down the road. Sliced off the fuel barrel plug, drilled them out and glued the cap on top (lost one of the ones I sliced off....which is why one is laying down). Other than that....this is a pretty sweet kit, and if not for the Eduard PE...could probably be assembled in a weekend pretty easily. The carrier itself is actually smaller than a Universal Carrier, and with the trailer added on, is not much bigger.
Enjoy!
Thanks
Scott
PS: Again, Scott...feel free to put them in the gallery.
