It will be done by the time I go to bed tomorrow night after work. All I need to do now is splice the plugs to the warp wires, get the saucer back on for good and plug everything to the bottom board and it'll be DONE!!

Unfortunately two of the square light on the upper saucer are only partially lit most of the time. I dunno what the issue is, and there is nothing I can do about it now.

Regardless I am super happy and proud of my work. This is the culmination of a long time of dreaming and hoping to own this kit. I love it, flaws and all.

They get louder after a few minutes, but not all that loud. They are almost silent for maybe 3 minutes, then get loud enough that there is a soft whirring. I haven't run it for more than 5 minutes tops for fear of them heating up.

Yeah, fixing that issue reminded me of the bit they used in various episodes, where Scotty or Spock would have to crawl up inside the Jeffries tube.

I personally felt more like The Doctor trying to fix the TARDIS when it goes on the blink. My GF even asked me where my Sonic Screwdriver was.
