Think pink

Looks great... and question: why the pink color??
That's a long story. Urumomo started it because I got a panther mixed up with the panzer I was building at the same time. So a bit of a joke turned into the cartoon character pink panther which turned into a photo of a pink panther tank. So I decided to go one better and built a pink panther tank and the rest is history. Pink has kinda stuck with me so every so often I go whackadoddle and build something pink for Urumomo.........and a few others that saw the funny side. Pantherman

What's the deal with the clear bits?

I just opened a 1/48 Tamiya airplane and there's an "optional" fuselage half that is clear.

Is this a new trend?

I've been having my eye on that Tamia 132nd Corsair.
I built the 1-A within the last year. I was proud of my work at the time, but know I could do better on the 2nd try, it really is an amazing kit, I suspect all three variants are great.

Something new I assume. Kinda nice to see all the work that we usually cover up. Pantherman

Much happier with the painted cowling than the decal one. Just a tiny bit of touching in to do then a coat of gloss.

After that it's cut out the decals I want and get a super shiny finish on the bodywork.

Got some of the front forks and wheel done as well so happy boy. Pantherman

Coming along rather nicely on this one bud. I was wondering about the whole pink Panther picture in your avatar so thanks for explaining that. Funny now that you clarified that. lol
