It looks great.

It reminds me of what we called in the RAAF a Wafwotam.

Or what Col Hogan calls a Gonculator...
 
I just read the entire post and i am really impressed with your creativity and skills… fantastic job!
Also like the 'old school' approach, like no 3D printing, but hand made parts.
 
How does this work in with this other thing you're building...?

Thanks , darktater , I'll be getting back to this in probably another month .
I've been keeping busy with 1:1 projects around here , some that are bench adjacent like upgrading lighting and storage and remodeling the photography bench , so I haven't been doing any scale work .

you just need this guy to head up your onsite security :
