"Tumbler" NATO's Future fast attack vehicle

here is another project that is underway from me i have been planning this for a while and have been sourcing parts but after speaking to John Simmons last weekend about it i had to make a start im using a scale model from Revoltech a Japanese company who produce pieces for DC Comics its the Tumbler from Batman The Dark Knight im using this along with Trumpeters Stryker command vehicle for kit bashing some resin wheels from a Hummer and some plasticard.

This will be a Nato vehicle set in the not so distant future it will be hybrid powered small jet turbine running electric motors 2 man crew 1 main machine gun other mods will be added as time goes on anyway enough of the chitter chatter here is some progress

if those wheels don't pivot vertically then this vehicle doesn't have much ground clearance, so it would only really be useful in urban environments...that's my take on it.

Jimi i appreciate your comment on the underside there are 2 hydraulic rams which can alter the ride height the rear wheels have independent suspension these would have hydraulic ride height adjusters too this project is about fun not reality im working on the underside blast panels at the moment so i will post up an update when i get a bit more finished
