Two Wheeled Vehicle Group Build

I hear you @TimM63. Here is what I am going with:

Tamiya YZR-M1 09

The only kit I could find that would work with the Top Studio kit is the clear body panel one as I bought it long after the kit's production. I am not really looking forward to painting clear pieces vs the normal styrene but we will see what happens. I am going to figure out a way to display everything. Perhaps removable panels, but it will be getting the full paint/decal job.

I also have the Tamyia Detail Kit as well as Top Studio Full Detail and Chain Kits. The Top Studio stuff can be intense but I am sucker for details so I am willing to put up with the pain. I also have some after market Carbon Fiber decals. For the chain kit.. you build the included jig and hammer each link in place.

Can't wait to join you all on this. As I had previously mentioned, it is going to take me a long time to complete but I appreciate these GB's as it provides some much needed motivation/inspiration.

Valentino!!

I am tempted by your GB but wondering if I can achieve the shiny paint required for these kits... Do you use normal paints (Tamiya, Mr Hobby, AK,..) or you go for dedicated car/motorbike models paint such as Gravity colors?

Come on in and join us, the more the merrier. I use an acrylic gloss to finish the bodywork. I have been using a Windsor Newton gloss but on the next bike I will be trying a vallejo polystyrene gloss varnish. Pantherman

With this build I will be using Kawasaki paint color. First time trying manufacture paint. We will see how it goes.
