Spud ! I dont envy the task you've given yerself with that roof ??? ??? But Im sure it will come out good,I reckon this one will be a cracker

ugg... its starting to pee me off now, the big hole is done that bit is fien its just the wondpws seem to be a pain, i seem to be having sink hole trouble, im wondering is it teh tamiya filler?

this has been filled 3 times with out sanding so im at a loss.. ima sand it when i get a chance and use milliput see how that is

When you sand that down Spud ,if it still sinks roll out some Milliput ( use talc so it doesnt stick to everything ) cut out the shape and lay in place ,blend the edges in with a wet brush ,then leave to set hard , use a block with the sanding paper to keep everything level and sand it all smooth ,the Milliput wont sink and I've never had any shrinkage with it

omg...... the sides are ok an other bit of filler on them to tide it up but teh roof is a pain in the Arse, i gave them a cost f grey to see how they look.

tomorrow if i get a chance ima use some millit put on the roof and see how it turns out

ok had time today to do some work on that roof and sides,

i wasnt fully happy with the middle bit because it seemed wavy for some reason so i rolled out what i had left over wiich was a lot and stuk it on there, yes its a lota sanding but that should fix the middle, the sides should be ok too once sanded flat

Hey Spud ,

I wouldnt worry too much about the roof being a bit wobbly ,remember you're building a wreck ,so the roof could be bent That Tamiya filler looks very pin holey !!

lol ya i was going to leave it but it annoued me . and it was thats why i went over it with Milliput ill sand it smooth tomorrow and see how it looks either way it will get done tomorrow any bad bit will get hid with moss ;D

right im pretty happy with the results ive jumt went over it with some tamiya putty to fill any bad seems so ill sand this tonight or tomorrow and give it a coat of primer.

if its still not 100% then it will get plenty of moss in them areas

ya thats why im not worried about how it will turn out. the sides were a bit wavy thats mainly why its on and the top needed a bit for a chip and a seem

The sides are perfect now gave them all a coat of primer last night to see how it looked. The roof is not so but the windows look better the big patch is showing its seem so I'll go over it once more with some filler and smoothe it Dow just to hide that but overall I'm happy with it

well im happy with this, looks better in the pic that it actully is but it good enough for this project, ill give it another 1 or 2 coats of primer should finish the roof then ill make a start on the rest some time this week.
