I just finished my last model, and while is was nice and dirty.
I noticed after a flat coat (tamiya flat clear) itwasn't that dirty anymore.
So did I blow dust away while airbrushing or should i be overdoing it a bit, so it comes out just perfect?

A clear coat will always bury your effects and they will disappear.

I never clear coat over my weathering, once I seal the decals with it, the clear coat never comes out again on that model.

So how should I seal/protect the weathering ken?
Or do decals clear and done just weathering and leave it?

It sounds like Ken doesn't use anything to seal/protect it, which actually makes sense. Just imagine parts of it rubbing off as to dragging your hand over your dirty car.

Unless I'm doing something hairspray chipping over previously hairspray chipped paint, or enamel washes over enamel paints, I don't seal it.

Most of my weathering is enamels and/or oils over acrylics, so once they are good and dry, they are pretty permanent and don't really need sealing/protecting. Pigments are saved for last and are either held by a pigment fixer, or I just don't handle the model vigorously where I've applied the pigments.
