I think I hurt myself so bad that I don't think I can work now. My shoulder was racked with pain and is STILL racked with pain most of the time since I hurt it over a month ago. And now it hurts so bad I don't know if I will be able to work any more. I think I tore the rotor cuff inside my shoulder and now every time I use it I feel nothing but pain. :( I need to see a doctor - SOON! I can barely use it and I still have projects in the works. I hope it's only the muscle.

Don't know the extent of your injuries, but I had a painful rotary cuff tear a couple years ago. Despite thinking "I was ruined", it healed without surgery. It did take months before I was close to feeling myself.

I hope you have similar results.

Thank you. I am getting a little better. Not as much pain but it's still there. I don't know what to do about in until I see the doctor to see what she says. Now if I could just get rid of this carpal tunnel syndrome.

As someone who suffers from the same issue, it does get better. My advice is:
See your GP first, get a referral if need be
See a specialist, who should get you to have it X-Rayed and get an Ultra-Sound
Then you can work with the GP/Specialist and a physio to arrange exercises to resolve the pain.

I've been working with this for 3.5 years. Some days are better than others. Some days are worse.
I also had a shot into the area and that helped enormously. The best thing is to stop doing what caused the issue in the first place.

Unfortunately, as in my case, it is what I love to do (work-wise) and so I manage it.

Good luck

I picked up a solid plastic board with my left arm which is my dominant arm for moving heavy things although I use my right arm for most things that require a little more finesse. However when I have to use it (and I do) it hurts so bad I want to quit!! I cannot afford to lose my job now. The other guy that I was working with today kept jabbing me in the back at the table that he and I work together on but he was pulling parts as I inspected them. He was using a steel pipe that had been bent into a hook on one end. However he kept pulling too many parts so that once I had inspected half of them it was ready to pull more as there were more than I could handle. He doesn't understand that if you pull a few parts then inspect them you have time to do so before having to pull the others off the conveyor belt. Now my back and my arm hurt together!! :(
