What scale is better

I started the 1/700 scale USS Texas battleship today. The little guns are so small still and i already lost a part less than an hour into it.

I tried sticking them to masking tape to work on them and still it went flying.

What are the naval scale options in modeling, should i look for 1/400?

The 2 primary scales for ships are 1/700 and 1/350 .
1/400 , 1/200 are available with fewer subjects -- just depends on what you're looking to build .

They do have 1/72 and 1/35 . but for smaller craft like torpedo boats etc

I have a 1/350 USS Missouri in my stash. And I built a 1/144 U-boat. I don't think I could do a 1/700 scale. I can't see that well.
