I'm starting my first try at putting Nico lights into my model… the invaders ufo. I'm somewhat concerned about glueing it togeather with styrene glue. Has anyone glued a model togeather with white glue for disassembly at a later date .. or would that even work.

So you mean that you want to use white glue to tack parts together, to disassemble it later and then assemble the model more permanently? Basically that's test-fitting. Some people will use tape to hold parts together temporarily, or poster tack/poster putty. Why not? I've never done it, but there's no reason it shouldn't work. You can dissolve the white glue with warm water, when it comes time to do it.

What's the reason you want to use white glue on it? If it's so that you can get at batteries to replace them later, when they run out, the better solution would be to make a section of the model removable so that it, for example, slots in place or is held on with magnets.
