This reminds me of my neighbors friend who had a competition edition of a Suzuki RM125 when we were younger. That thing was a beast!!! Cool bike man!

What was your car growing up (high school car)

My first ride was a 1966 Barracuda with 318 V-8 with a 2 barrel carburetor. These pics were taken in 1985 with an old Kodak Disk camera and although grainy, here's pictures of my very first car. I've given thought a time or two getting the ol' girl back from the current owner as I know right...

What was your car growing up (high school car)

I think the vast majority of us may have fallen for the "girls" trap Mark. lol I used to build hot rods all the time when I was younger and then.....I got married. All of that pretty much ended for a while. I've had a few cool cars since but nothing like the ones I had when I was single. lol

    AMT 1/48 Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat

Sometimes it's like that. I've seen several "what if" builds and it's good to take an artistic license sometimes in the hobby. This is one reason that Luft '46 builds appeal to me. One can get dang near as crazy as they want to with those. Looking forward to more on this one Tim.

Hi, I'm happy to be here

It is truly great to have you here Daniel. You came to the right platform to get better at scale modeling as forums are a good way to do just that. I saw you were from Romania. I was there with the Texas Army National Guard performing training exercises with the Romanian Army in 2005. I met a...

    AMT 1/48 Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat

That is an interesting camo job Tim. Is it patterned after a specific aircraft or is this a “what if” camo? In either case, this is coming along well bud.

Thanks Mark. It's taken three kits to get it to look like this. One for the build, another for the mock up and a third one for spare parts along the way.

    Model shows in Phoenix area

Gotcha Keith. I'll start warming my wifey up to the idea of going to that one. I really do miss that show as there was a lot going on there with plenty of vendors. The Nats was a good show too. I didn't win a dang thing there but it didn't matter because I still had fun meeting up with folks...
