Wow thats a beauty! Hardly noob! Have you got any WIP pictures? Or a little explaination on the painting/weathering?

Re: 1/35 Cyberhobby Stug III (finished) + (WIP added)

Thanks for all the kind comments.

Here is some of WIP I manage to dig up.

Initial built up.

First time encounter Dragon-Magic Track, with sag effect.

I prime the hull with Vallejo german grey primer, it rock hard after one day of curing. Base coat the track links with Earth color.

I use Alliancework mask stencil set. I love it.

Then I use hair spray technique with AK chipping fluid. I use tamiya Dark Yellow for top coat. I just roughly doing this process coz there will be a second white coat.

After I seal the dark yellow with a clear coat, then i proceed to second layer of AK chipping fluid, top coat is Vallejo white, I ran out of Tamiya white. The result is not that good, when I start to chip the vallejo paint become rubbery and sticky, not good. Think I need a thinner coat ?

Then I filter it with light brown, then I carefully buff the whole chassis but leaving all the hatches and highlight point with the filter effect. I want to make look more interesting and contrast enhance. I know this is unreal...but...

Mud effect was created with AK dust + dark earth + dark mud + plaster, while the mud effect is still wet I sprinkle different earth tone pigment over it.

Oil leak effect using AK fuel and stain. Overdo ???

That's all I had, thanks for watching.

Any comments and critics is most welcome !!!

Thanks.
