I see what you mean !...Does the shield go up and down with the gun ?,could it not be positioned up a bit ?

no its fixed in place. ive been looking at images and ive seen 1 example with no shield but it looks very clean and could be in the factory, its a pain in the rear end because were its getting stuck is were i want it to be,
