Thanks Andy, I appreciate you reply. Just got to the point where I hated that roof. Remove the pewter strip , saved that ! Then realised the whole thing was too big. I learnt a lot from doing the building, found that some of my primers were the wrong using acrylic should have used enamel . Going to put the whole thing down to one of experience and a giant test pieceWhaaaat!
It was looking excellent from this side John, sorry to hear it is no longer
Thanks, win some loose some, its only a hobby and if its not bringing pleasure out it will go.I can understand that, hopefully you will try again. Like Andy T, I thought it was looking great.
Hi Steve, this time a front only , just ordered a suitable frame. Going to use the things I've learn't in it.I'm sooooo sorry to hear that JR. You put such a lot of hard work and effort into that building. Look forward to seeing what you have learnt taken forward to the next attempt. Good luck mate and take care
Thanks Paul, but when you just have that niggling doubt , that's it .--------bin. I'd got to far to save anything.John, really sorry to hear you weren't happy with it but you know in your heart if it's right or not all I can say it looked good to me matey.
Indeed not Mark, at one time I would have worried about the material cost , but not being happy about the build why worry about the cost, it would never have sat comfortably with me .That's a shame John but when your not happy with something the enthusiasm goes so no point persevering.
