OK, finally a little update. I managed to finish slapping the engine together...even managed to squirt down some primer. With any luck I can start assembling some big pieces next!!

I was able to glue the fuselage together tonight (lol...no pics yet) but I did get a nice shinny black base and a shinny 1st coat on the engine!!



A clear coat tomorrow and then on to some detailing!!

Thanks guys! Tonight I will be looking to pull out some more detail on this, painting wise. Glued the fuselage together too last night. Only a light sanding and a small fix-it or two and the wings can go on!

Some Alclad Burnt Metal, Serpia and a touch of Violet for good measure. Laying some color on some parts now.

Really like how the wiring on the engine looks, is it hard to do? I would like to try it on some of my WW2 aircraft kits.
I think I got the tools for it, small gauge wire, pin vise, mini drill bits and some super glue. I'm thinking with a little work I can spruce the engines on the B-25. I know I've told everyone that was going to be an out of box build but your engine looks way to cool to at least not to try it.

Thank you!!! I hear you though!!! Go for it. Still OOB, just a little scratch improvements is all!!! That is basically all you need. Fine wire, I stole mine from a lamp chord. The rods were 1/16th brass rod. It like adding some ignition wires to a car model. Small little details that will hopefully make it POP. Google B-25 engines and you will be stylin'!! 8)

That is that for the moment. I am figuring on the next steps and working on 100 things else. I have opened my eyes a bit recently. An there are a couple of smaller projects that do need to be completed...FW being one and something similar I started way back that may rear its ugly head soon!!

Thanks Chris!! Yeah a little "tippex trick" I think will be in order.

As for the Fw190....yeah, it will come out and I think soon. Would like to get a bit farther on this. Also, you know what is on the plate too...LOL!!!

The * is the second Fw that was started way way back. It need completing. There is a base remake to be done and some figure work too, but, yup it's time!!
