Was disappointed to find it was a curbside kit. So after thinking about it decided to use it to practice a/b techniques and different paint mixes. For the exterior went with a mid range violet and the interior a contrasting yellow ochre. Primed with grey acrylic on this one am wanting to use more acrylics than lacquers. Sanded and repeat.
So far the body has 4 coats of base, no clears yet. Wanting to let fully cure and colorsand before that..The interior color came out pretty cool I think, would have liked it a bit darker but it may work. Anyway this is the progress so far..Thanx

Interesting colour combo. Look forward to seeing how this turns out and whether you like working with the acrylics.

Finished the model..W/o an engine compartment went together fast.. The colors aren't really a vivid on the pic's.
1 round of polishing compound no wax on it yet..Is still in transit, using Novus product...

Looks pretty decent.
May want to put a little black into that upper vent on the front to take away some of the "model" look, though

Im doing the USA-1 Camaro SS and the decals are crappy and its a Snap tite too. Was not Happy about that. But i like the Coor choice something different.

I wasn't happy finding that Round 2 took over AMT as well..some of the other re-releases they omitted some of the parts from the original molds to save money I can only assume..Quality isn't a priority with them..To many errors on it to correct so used it as a test bed for color mixes...Have fun building!!! :)
