2k clear

What is a good cheaper 2k clear and hardener to use for car models?
Any insight is appreciated.

I second the Splash Paints recommendation

Splash Paints has a great 2k clear, and it is sold in small quantities which makes it easier to use.

I recently went to Tropical Glitz and picked up a quart of 2k clear to safe money. It was like $65, but I have a lifetime supply of 2k clear now. I will never have to buy any more.

Price comparision. $65 of Splash 2k clear will coat 8-10 cars.

My recommendation is if you think you're going to do a lot of car models just get it from an Automotive Paint supply shop. It will be a larger quantity, but it will be MUCH cheaper than the equivalent amount if you were to get hobby specific 2K clears. And its literally the same stuff.
