This kit is really old and the fit isn't that great. The instructions are poor at best, nothing seems to want to locate in the position shown. Some parts just seem to go where they fit best with no guides, holes, lines or anything. Really struggling with the main control panel as it just seems to hang in the cockpit.Thought I would give this kit a go. Smaller than my usual at 1/72 but space is running out. Pantherman

Well I may have to retract some of my previous post as the fuselage went together almost perfectly with no filler, just a bit of sanding on the seem. This kit is really old and the fit isn't that great. Might have to close the canopy which is a shame as I have spent a long time on the controls and seats.....Pantherman
A little more progress and managed to get the outside xmas lights up. PanthermanWell I may have to retract some of my previous post as the fuselage went together almost perfectly with no filler, just a bit of sanding on the seem.
The other parts fitted to the fuselage have also been very good with just a tiny bit of filler and a light sanding. Pantherman

Looking good PM. Not sure how I didn't see this thread until now. Must be getting slow in my old age. I have always liked the Intruder since I saw the movie "Flight of the Intruder"A little more progress and managed to get the outside xmas lights up. Pantherman

Got the white below wings and fuselage done, just messing around with the red edge details. Lot's of flash to clean on the smaller part's but it's starting to take shape. I have attached a photo of what I'm aiming for. PanthermanA little more progress and managed to get the outside xmas lights up. Pantherman

Had a little more time with the A6 and started on the weapons and canopy. Next I will have a go at the decals I think. Very true, just like a helpless turtle. PanthermanVery nice! Love the beefy look of this one!
Is it just me, but don't these birds look so vulnerable just lying there on their backs?
Like crabs or gulls on the seashore. I want to flip them over so they can fly away...
Many thanks Tim, I'm having fun with this one as it was relatively cheap and 1/72 is a bit easier to store. PMNice work. The little red edging really make it pop. Well done.
