So I just wanted to share a build I am currently working on and thought why not just dive in. Doing the weathering and have some left to go but is a work in progress.

Still has some things to add so on but did alot of pictures research and alot of custom work to toter assembly rear brake area bays and so on. Has been alot of fun so far

Think I got most of the detailing done... Wanted to get the rivets or bolts to pop more for that worn look... Think time to move on to final sections of the model now. You guys think it looks the part or too much or?? Either way they really pop now I think lol

I'm not a plane guy... but from a 'how are you gonna display it perspective'... it depends: Will it be on a dark shelf, or in close ups for a photo spread?
Personally, I might have tried to vary the wear - if I even knew where the most wear would be!

I think it is pretty stunning as is though!

That some good work you got going on there..... I like it. The weathering is my favorite part of builds. It's real easy to get carried away with it though, and I usually do.

What a cool detail the M-4s inside the cockpit, incredible work!! Were the rifles part of the kit or resin?

They were part of the kit however I did add the emergency radio, the handheld one for if they are shot down. I also did alot of the bay wiring so on myself through research as well.

Excellent job. I just bought mine today. Right off the bat I was astounded that there was 20 sprues. This might be fun

Yeah it is a nice bit of kits though... Great fitting parts so on. I put alot of research into mine I built for sure. Even drilled out the rocket pods so on lol.

I was reading this thread, saw the fist pic of your shelves and thought "this guy REALLY loves rotary-wings", then the 2nd picture..."ahhhh, something from before 1970"...then the third, "all modern armor".
