Airfix kits. Are they good kits worth building?

Thanks. Any additional kits besides the P-40 you'd recommend from Airfix? I've been enamored by all the Cold War jets they offer but have been scared by the plastic issue…

There are a lot of excellent reports on the 1/24 scale new tool Spitfire which was released last year. Plenty of builds of it on YouTube. I have one of the kits, still in its box, ready to start in the fall.

This is my first 1:48 scale by them. I do have a 1/48 Spitfire in the stash but I have not looked at it yet

Been seriously looking at the 1/24 Spitfire but it's just finding space to put it. A colleague of mine has bought 2 of them and he says that they are amazing. Pantherman

The Hawker Hurricane and Spitfire mk XII sets I have look really good.
