Finally got onto some painting!

Did a little chipping test.

Alclad grey primer, Alclad Steel, masking fluid, and then Tamiya Yellow. The steel is going to be difficult to cover with the light color.

How did you manage to clean the seams that well ? A special glue ? Adding the very same plastic parts (sprues) of the kit with Acetone ? Trichloroethylene product ?

Can't wait to see your progress here ! Bravo !

Seams = a lot of tamiya putty and sanding. They're still visible in some areas but I'm hoping painting and weathering will cover them up.
