Thank you very much, gentlemen!

Nice work there Solander. Great quality as always. I would like to learn more about lighting these and other Sci-Fi models.
I'm growing on building the newly released Revell 1/500 Star Trek Into Darkness Enterprise soon, and there I'm planning on both making a full build-log videos from the beginning to the very end + I am going to use every single thing I now about lighting the models to create an uber-lighting for this ship with running and navigational lights, windows lit up, engines with plasma-pulsation simulation and so on.
But while all these are just plans yet, I would highly recommend You Grendel's Lighting Tutorials:
http://www.scalemodeladdict.com/index.php/topic,4881.0.html I find them absolutely outstanding on all the aspects. As far as I know, Grendels is running a tutoring-services company, and teaches himself, and that really feels while watching his vids. If I knew nothing about lighting models before watching his tutorials, I would most certainly have a successful model-lighting experience after learning from them.

Don't you just love bsg models?
They are really good indeed.
To be honest I can't say I am not facing any difficulties finishing them at all, but these are just the minor ones, so I would recommend those to any one who loves BSG and modeling or even better both.
Now, on the latest progress: I have done 4 things so far
- applied the decals
- added some additional small scratches here and there by hand (mostly near the panel lines)
- done slight postshading with a very dark almost black acrylic paint.
- and finally made some fading with white and a very little bit of sierra-blue oil paints.
Now all the progress is sealed with another layer of future, and my next step is going to be applying of a couple of washes.
It would be quite soon till calling it done after that.
