Obviously, you didn't bother to check www.scalehobbyist.com. They have THE best prices over most other hobby online stores.Oh! I will have to try the Mr Hobby leveling thinner. I use a home brew mix of Vallejo thinner, flow improver, and retarder. It would be nice to switch to just one bottle. I would try the ATOM thinner, but it is out of stock at all the US retailers I frequent.
THANK YOU! I've been trying to find something like this since the Atom paints were released! Why they don't make this more easily available, I haven't a clue. Thanks!!Hello! I have been trying out the new ATOM paints from Ammo by Mig. I like them, but could not find a color reference for them. so I emailed the and they sent me the chart for retail display.

Why not use MCW a paints instead? They carry a very large variety of accurate colors for car kits.I've got some AMMO Atom & Cobra paints on order from Mig direct: https://www.migjimenez.com
I'm very curious about the Cobra lines for some auto models I've got planned in the near future. I also love that MIG now also stocks Mr. Hobby stuff direct from their warehouse too.
Probably because MCW aren't acrylic and even if I wanted to go laqcuer this stuff is much hotter than almost every other hobby paint. My impression is quality control is hit or miss with the new ownership. Why not use MCW a paints instead? They carry a very large variety of accurate colors for car kits.

What quality control hit or miss? Says who? Who's telling you this claim? A lot of guys over at modelcarkits forum still use it, myself included. Never had any issues with their paint line. One day if I need a very accurate classic color, maybe I'll spend the $$ and try them. So far I haven't had the urge.
