Early on, not long after getting back into modelcraft, my first effort being an SAS jeep, I started reading up on Sterling and his band of 'misfits', as well as the much more respectable lads of the LRDG.
I read about a Ford he had acquired, modified and dressed up a la DAK, with the intent of just driving on the hard tack to wreak havoc behind enemy lines.
I found a kit that might fit the bill, and jumped in!

a very basic resin kit, how hard could it be?!

Hopefully I won't offend anyone too much with the crude execution, having just discovered polystyrene... and how much I like digging in resin!

I still didn't have a stash of stowage to pick from, so I decided to use the spare tires in the kit (which were covered (no treads)to put in back. this would mean adding tread! another job for my new friend styrene!
