Border models zero

Wing pretty much built and working on the body. It's pretty cool. They give you the option on the elevators. Shot up? Or pristine. That's kind of neat cuz I'm thinking of it being all shot up and battle damaged

Built a Zero as a kid, and a pretty decent pen-and-ink in middle school. Traded the drawing with a guy who showed me how to drum 'Wipeout' on my desk! Life was so simple at 12!

Detail looks really nice, not raised panel lines, but actual raised panels...awesome!

Is that true for all or most Border kits?

I found this guy's blog a great resource for IJN/IJA aircraft, and more. I'm researching my Zero/Val/Kate 3x combo kit, hope to try to build all three at once this summer, just gotta clear some squirrels off the bench.

I did notice the raised panels and stuff it's going to be cool to paint and here's a couple pictures of my border models FW 190 and it doesn't have the actual raised panels which could be contributed to the way the Japanese built the zero, I don't know. But I do know I was getting the wings and stuff on this zero and the fit is really good I mean almost excellent. Very surprising

I don't know about their aircraft kits, but I do know their AFVs do not have a good reputation. There are a few exceptions, but most of the Border Models AFV kits have all kinds of mistakes that simply shouldn't be there if they had done their research slightly better.

This is my second borders kit the first one being the FW 190 and I agree with you. Although you can't argue with the price. And I've said it before and I'll say it one more time. If you're a modeling beginner and you get one of these kits? You're in trouble. You're going to be lost at the first step
