Ok I could've given it one more scrub but I wanted to leave some of the filter. After force drying it with the old heat gun, I mixed up a thin MIG Brown filter wash to age it with a little road grime.
After this drys i'll give it a few chips and scratches not many just a few to show use. Then add my pin washes to the seams and rivets for definition.
When finished one side door will be open all the way and the other side just partially open.

Thanks for all the encouragment to hang in there folks
Tony lee ;D

Looking real nice Tony!! Can't wait to see those scratches and chips!!! Carry on my good man!! ;)

Good job on saving it Tony. It looks like you had a bad experience similar to mine. It all came out in the end. It should really pop once the pin washes go on.

I really like all the different colors going on in this build between the body, gun and chassis.

As long as my Nitro pills hold out I will "T"
Yeah BJ all those colors do add interest no doubt about it.
I can just see all those rivet counter having break downs now. ;D

Tony lee :)

Critique Time Again
I marked it up today to show usage but not to the extent that it's looks overdone.

Well what do you think? Honest opinions only please.

Cool looking chipping Tony.

Maybe a little light drybrushing with black (I use artist oil paint) around the openings of the doors on both the cab and gun compartment to simulate the worn areas of bare steel from the crew climbing in and out. (note the little and light part) After a day or so of that drying, rub some graphite (or AK dark steel pigment if you have it) on the same areas and bam, worn bare steel.

Its looking great Tony :D....maybe a few rust streaks from some of the chips ,not too much just the odd one ?...its up to you mate . ;)

The honest opinion of this modelling pipsqueak that I am is that is a great, nice, and extremely neatly executed model, Tony.

That´s all that I´m able to say. I would have dusted a little more the wheel and runnig gear, lower part of the vehicle, with some Tamiya very higly diluted paint, but that´s a personal choice.

But the more important questions are...
1.- Have YOU enjoyed "it" ?
2.- DO YOU like the results ?

I think that you know the answer to both questions, and the answer is... MIDOL ... sorry ! a mental lapsus !!! ;D ;D ... I mean that the answer will be YESssss... ;)

"Cojonudo", Tony ;)

i love it mabe a little dust on the lower end but ya its great

Hey guys slow down you're getting way ahead of me. ;D
I take one step at a time, today was chip and pin wash day. I'll do something else tomorrow while the pin wash dries. The dusty stuff will be the very last thing that gets done.

Sounds like you guys feel that what i've done so far is fine.
Good for you, good for me,good for the corps 8)
