Was at Hobby Lobby with SWMBO today and saw Testors has a color shift paint. The ones I saw were very small spray cans for $11.00. I have the Tamiya 1/12 Tyrell P34 F1 car and do not like the blue color for the ELF livery. I am thinking of taking some artistic liberties with the build and thought the color shift paint might be an option. Has anyone used a color shift paint. Looking for ideas. Would like to airbrush it and spray with Tamiya X22 clear gloss after applying decals. Open to about any idea.

Color shift update. Went to Wallyworld this morning and picked up a can of Rustoleum blue color shift paint. Painted a couple spoons, 2 coats gloss black, let dry, 3 coats color shift, let dry. 2 coats gloss clear.
Not I impressed. Beautiful metallic blue color, but no shift in color. Maybe on a larger surface the effect will be greater. May still use it on the Tyrell as I like it better than the recommended color.

Hey, I don't have any experience on the topic, but did you know you can use the search tool up there to see if there are other threads that might answer some of your questions? (sometimes no one who's active has any advice)
I tried 'color shift' and got a few hits. For some words like color / colour, I'll try both the American and British spelling, as we have folks on both sides of the pond

Good luck!
