Hey folks! I know this has been asked in the past, but I was hoping there's been some advancements in water slide decal making haha

For us with inkjet printers, are there any options for decal printing? I've seen the style where you print on water slide decal paper, then spray clear coat over it. But I can't picture that working easily .

Any advice would help.

IMHO I would avoid making decals with an inkjet.

Why? I have an inkjet and it worked fine. Just don't use clear decal paper when making your own decals. Colors tend to be translucent once removed from backing paper. Use white backing decal paper.

I've never tried inkjet decals, but I'm not a fan of inkjet on paper so...

If your subject matter is mainstream there are vendors who sell masking kits, several rounds/layers/sessions with adding and removing masks.

I've seen AMAZING results, that far surpass traditional decals, but it also looks very tedious and it would be really easy to ruin things.
